Frequently Asked Questions:
How many classes can we attend?
+ You may attend as many classes as you wish with any membership.
My child has , can they still participate in the class?
+ We encourage participation from all students no matter their personal challenges. Students who are able to participate independently can jump right into class on their own. Students that may need more individual attention are encouraged to bring a parent, guardian, O.T., or even sibling to work with them.
I have physical limitations or am afraid to get hurt.
+ Our training is easily adaptable to your individual needs and emphasizes control and respect for each other.
My child or I have no experience, will we be able to keep up?
+ Martial Arts are an individual sport and you will never be compared to other students. Experienced students are encouraged to help newer students to learn and succeed.
Do I need to spar?
+ No, sparring is optional and any sparring classes will be announced in advance. Proper safety equipment is always required for those who do wish to spar.
How long does it take to get a black belt?
+ This is dependent on your goals and practice habits. Students that train often may receive their first black belt in only a few years. Some students prefer to train for other reasons and that's perfectly OK.
We're not sure we can afford a long term commitment.
+ We do not ask for down payments, term contracts, or upgrade fees. Additionally, your family can receive up to 50% off your monthly membership though our Community Leader program.
